Saturday's Powerball jackpot hits $935 million

North Carolina Powerball players can try their luck at winning the fifth largest prize in Powerball history on Saturday with a $935 million jackpot up for grabs.

If you won the jackpot on Saturday, you could claim it as a $935 million annuity or $452.3 million in cash. The Powerball jackpot has gone 37 straight drawings since a New Year’s Day jackpot win in Michigan.

As you try your luck, remember there are nine different ways to win. It would be great to see a jackpot win but lots of other nice wins occurrred recently in North Carolina.  Check your tickets carefully after Saturday’s drawing.

Wednesday's drawing produced 50,058 winning tickets in our state. And so far, $17.6 million has been raised for education during the current Powerball run.

 You can buy Powerball tickets at any lottery retail location or through Online Play on the lottery’s website or the NC Lottery Official Mobile App. The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292 million,
