Davie County woman celebrates $250,000 scratch-off win

Arianna Porter of Mocksville took a chance on a $5 scratch-off and won a $250,000 prize.

Porter bought her lucky 20X The Cash ticket from Farmington Road Shell on Farmington Road in Mocksville.

She claimed her prize at lottery headquarters Monday and, after required state and federal tax withholdings, took home $178,751.

Congrats! No stores in my area even carry this ticket anymore. They all have the new orange 20X. I love play older tickets, because most of the dudes are gone....Just like I been chasing all the Christmas tickets, but NCEL are pulling all those...still good prizes out there LOL!
