We never tire of hearing about the great work our educators do for our kids throughout our great state. On Wednesday, we met some of the Triad area’s finest at the Educator of the Week luncheon hosted by WGHP-TV.
Educators and their guests attended a luncheon in WGHP’s station, received an apple-shaped award, and took home a lottery goodie bag. They also got to meet news anchor Cindy Farmer and news station staff.
The North Carolina Education Lottery is proud to support the WGHP Educator of the Week program and similar programs like Thanks to Teachers at WLOS-TV in Asheville and Teacher of the Week at WITN-TV in Greenville and WRAL in Raleigh.
During the school year, these programs create heartfelt stories each week about exceptional teachers and educators.
Congratulations to each and every educator that is recognized.
