Davidson County man enjoys $200,000 scratch-off win

Schmard Jeter of Lexington tried his luck on a $5 scratch-off and won a $200,000 top prize.

Jeter bought his lucky Pot of Gold ticket from the Grab And Go on West Center Street in Lexington.

He arrived at lottery headquarters Thursday to claim his prize and, after required state and federal tax withholdings, took home $131,430.

The Pot of Gold game debuted in December with four $200,000 top prizes. One $200,000 prize remains to be claimed.

Hey, Charles! You can see both - if you visit the page for the specific second chance drawing, you can see the total entries you have in the drawing. If you wanted a breakdown of when you submitted entries into any second chance drawing, you can look under "Second Chance History" (click on your name in the top right corner of the desktop site and select "2nd Chance") to see when you entered each drawing and how many times. Hope this helps!

Hi Phyllis, after we conduct a Second Chance drawing our team reaches out to each winner to let them know they've won in the drawing. We contact winners by email, phone and certified mail to help make sure the winners in Second Chance drawings receive their prize.
