Fayetteville woman celebrates $100,000 second-chance win

Domeyana Evans of Fayetteville tried her luck in a second-chance drawing and won a $100,000 top prize on Wednesday.

Evans won her lucky prize in the Season End Blowout drawing. The drawing had more than 5 million entries.

She arrived at lottery headquarters Thursday to claim her prize and, after required federal and state tax withholdings, took home $71,750.

The Season End Blowout drawing awarded three North Carolina lottery players with a $100,000 prize. The other two prizes have not been claimed yet.

I find it strange that I played this second chance drawing to and literally used almost 55k points for over 560 entries and wasn’t even a winner this is real heart breaking and it shouldn’t only be 3 people next year it should be at least 10 to 20 people that should get a opportunity to have life changing money
