Rockingham County player wins $1.69 million digital instant jackpot

A lucky lottery player from Eden just won a $1.69 million digital instant jackpot Thursday morning.

The winner played The Lamp Dark Arts for $.50 and instantly won the game’s top jackpot. The odds of that win are 1 in 129 million.

The Lamp Dark Arts has a progressive jackpot that continues to grow until it is won. After Thursday’s big win, the jackpot reset at $100,000 and continues to climb again.

The Lamp Dark Arts is one of 55 games that can be played online in North Carolina as part of the lottery’s digital instant games.

The winner has 180 days to claim the prize.

This is hard to believe that all the Jackpots that were over a million all hit around the same time frame. I spent alot of money on these games and never won over $100.00 in a single deposit. Something doesn't add up. These games pay out poorly with me, and they are very predictable meaning you a can tell almost every time what it is going to give you. From experience how these games produce, to me it very hard to conceive that all these Jackpots went off around the same time frame. 11 I don't buy it. Because you can deposit $50 and only bet 50 cent a hand and it doesn't last you 20 minutes given all the dead spins you received back to back So make it make since. NC Lottery

Congrats to whom ever! So two big jackpots were won on .50 wagers which have worst odds, but I can't get a decent WIN playing for $10 and increasing the odds of hitting a JACKPOT. The odds of that win are 1 in 129 million. The odds of that win are 1 in 62 million.
