Rowan County player wins $1.86 million digital instant jackpot

A lucky lottery player from Cleveland won a $1.86 million digital instant jackpot on Saturday.

The winner played the Monopoly game for $1 and instantly won the game’s top jackpot. The odds of that win are 1 in 50 million.

The big $1.86 million win represents the second digital instant jackpot of at least $1.6 million won in North Carolina in the last week. A Rockingham County player won a $1.69 million jackpot on Thursday.

Monopoly has a progressive jackpot that continues to grow until it is won. After Saturday’s big win, the jackpot reset at $150,000 and has climbed to over $228,000 as of Monday morning.

Monopoly is one of 55 games that can be played online in North Carolina as part of the lottery’s digital instant games.

The winner has 180 days to claim the prize.

I'm still waiting for my winnings to be deposited in to my bank account. It now says " withdraw funds" in process from 10/13. I feel like I need to go to the news media about this!!NC Lottery

Look at all these jackpots won on minimal amount plays. NCEL has so many janky, rigged games to promote these days. They say anything to lure the unsuspecting public to play rigged games.

There is not a dedicated second chance drawing for Powerball at the moment, but rather this add-on gives you a chance to win in a second Powerball drawing.
