The Powerball jackpot continues to grow as Wednesday’s $930 million prize represents the seventh largest jackpot in the history of the game.
A winner tonight could claim the jackpot as a $930 million annuity or $429 million in cash.
Monday’s Powerball drawing saw two lucky North Carolinians match four white balls and the red Powerball to win $50,000. One ticket included Power Play for an additional $1 and doubled to $100,000 when the 2X multiplier came up.
- The $100,000 win came from a $3 ticket purchased using Online Play in Burlington.
- The $50,000 win came from a $2 ticket purchased at the Circle K on Yadkin Road in Fayetteville.

Tonight’s jackpot is the second-largest Powerball prize offered this year, trailing only the $1.7 billion jackpot won Sept. 6 in Missouri and Texas.
