The Powerball jackpot keeps climbing up the all-time list as Monday’s prize now stands at $875 million, the seventh largest in the game’s history.
A winner tonight could claim the jackpot as an $875 million annuity or $403.6 million in cash.
Saturday’s Powerball drawing saw two lucky North Carolinians match four white balls and the red Powerball to win $50,000. One ticket included Power Play for an additional $1 and doubled to $100,000 when the 2X multiplier came up.
- The $100,000 win came from a $3 ticket purchased at the Walmart on N.C. 53 East in Burgaw.
- The $50,000 win came from a $2 ticket purchased at Nic's Pic Kwik on North Patterson Street in Maxton.
Monday’s drawing offers the second-largest Powerball jackpot this year, trailing only the $1.7 billion jackpot won Sept. 6 in Missouri and Texas.
