Winter Weather closes lottery offices, delays others

Due to adverse winter weather conditions, the N.C. Education Lottery will close or delay the opening of some of its offices on Thursday, Feb. 20.

The Raleigh headquarters and regional offices and claim centers in Greenville and Greensboro will be closed. The regional office and claim center in Wilmington will open at noon.

Regional offices and claim centers in Asheville and Charlotte will operate on a normal schedule.

Players should call ahead to our regional offices and claims centers before visiting. Call (877) 625-6886 and:

  • Press #1 for Asheville Regional Office and Claim Center.
  • Press #2 for Greensboro Regional Office and Claim Center.
  • Press #3 for Charlotte Regional Office and Claim Center.
  • Press #4 for Raleigh Regional Office and Claim Center.
  • Press #5 for Greenville Regional Office and Claim Center.
  • Press #6 for Wilmington Regional Office and Claim Center.

All lottery drawings will be held as scheduled.

Hi, Isaiah! If you have a printed ticket, you can scan your ticket using the NC Lottery mobile app, or visit a NC Education Lottery retailer or vending machine to check and see if your ticket was a winner. If you purchased a ticket online, you'll receive an email notifying you of your win with instructions on how to claim your prize. Prizes under $600 will automatically be deposited into your account for you to withdraw.
