Granville County man bags $100,000 scratch-off prize

Rufino Perdomo of Oxford tried his luck on a $20 scratch-off and won a $100,000 prize.

Perdomo bought his lucky 100X The Cash ticket from Shell Food Mart on Linden Avenue in Oxford.

He arrived at lottery headquarters Monday to claim his prize and, after required federal and state tax withholdings, took home $71,756.
