@Danielle, we have other Digital Instant games with progressive jackpots that are only available in NC. The Monopoly game is unique with the multi-state jackpot, but that also means that that jackpot may grow larger and faster than our other games. I also wanted to share that no Digital Instant game has a Pari Mutuel jackpot. All jackpots can only be won by a single individual, and then the jackpot would reset.

I would not have wasted so much money on Monopoly digital game, had I known it was a multi-state game. When I was in Washington, DC I saw that they also had the monopoly game but their jackpot was much lower than ours. Why can’t NC do the same and get a single-state license for the game? MegaMillions, Powerball and Lucky for Life are different because we knew about them being multi-state games from the start. But I don’t want my money going to Virginia when this lottery is supposed to benefit NC and schools and none of them pay taxes here. It’s almost at a $4mil jackpot and it starts over at $150k which is ridiculous enough. Please NCEL, you guys should have enough money from us by now to be able to afford the single-state license for all our games. Because wouldn’t a multi-state game mean pari mutuel jackpots as well?? If I hit for $4 Million I’m not splitting that with 20 other people lol.

How many of the digital games are multi state games. I thought we were just playing against NC players not several other states. It makes sense that Monopoly is 1-50 million on the jackpot. Which is still ridiculous odds!NC Lottery
Hi, William! Monopoly is our only Digital Instants game that shares a jackpot with other participating lotteries (currently, Virginia is the only other participating lottery). All of our other Digital Instants games, including the progressive jackpot games, are exclusive to the NC Education Lottery.
