Pick 3 players win $2 million on 0-0-0

Wow! Congratulations go out this morning to all our Pick 3 players who play trips of 0-0-0.

Those numbers in Saturday night’s Pick 3 drawing delivered over $2 million in prizes for lottery players.

In all, 5,420 winning tickets matched all three numbers. A player with a fifty-cent ticket won $250 and a player with a $1 ticket won $500.

Combinations of three of the same numbers, known as “trips”, are some of the most popular sets of numbers played. Whatever three numbers you pick, the odds of matching exactly all three in a Pick 3 drawing are the same: 1 in 1,000.

Winners have 180 days to claim their prizes.

Now you also have the choice of buying Pick 3 tickets at your favorite store or on our website using the Online Play program.

Good for them! I purchased a Cash Pop ticket, says buy one get a free ticket. Just my luck got the one ticket and the screen up top of the kiosk went dark gray and said out of paper. Just my luck. So didn't get the freebie.

Some stores charge a fee if you pay with your debit card. The bank doesnt charge -- it is the store. I have been charged as much ad $4 fee for paying with debit card.

So I had a situation happen to me this evening when I went to purchase my evening Pick 3 tickets. I bought $12 worth of tickets, however, my total ended up being $12.84. I have never been taxed for any kind of lottery purchase before. I even mentioned it to the female clerk that no other place has charged a tax for lottery. That did no good though, she just stared at me. The place I bought my tickets this evening was the Run In 802 in North Wilkesboro, owned and ran by Raymer Oil. I purchased day draw tickets today at a different place of business and wasn’t charged a tax on my purchase. Just wanted to pass this along so maybe you could investigate the place of business I mentioned.NC Lottery

NCEL, you're gonna see a drop in players on Pick 3, 4, & Carolina Cash 5 no matter how much money you try to "hand out". Why is this? Because Mega Millions has gone up to $5 per play and those players are refocusing their money on it. Shame on you and your crooked, rigged games.
