2-5-2 wins Pick 3 players more than $1.39 million

Those numbers delivered almost $1.4 million in prizes for lottery players. The numbers represent the area code for many eastern North Carolina residents.

In all, the drawing produced 4,977 winning tickets. A player with a fifty-cent ticket that matched all three numbers exactly won $250 and a player with a $1 ticket won $500.

Sunday’s big drawing marked the third Pick 3 drawing in the last month to provide over $1.2 million in prizes for players.

Whatever three numbers you pick, the odds of matching exactly all three in a Pick 3 drawing are the same: 1 in 1,000.

Winners have 180 days to claim their prizes.
