Powerball jackpot climbs to $325 million for tonight’s drawing

The Powerball jackpot keeps on growing as it now stands at $325 million for Wednesday’s drawing.

A winner tonight could claim the jackpot as a $325 million annuity or $145.3 million in cash.

Even though the jackpot remains up for grabs, players are taking home lots of other prizes as Monday’s Powerball drawing produced more than 12,000 winning tickets in North Carolina.

North Carolinians also help education programs in the state when they play Powerball. The current Powerball run has raised almost $6 million for education in North Carolina.

Players can buy Powerball tickets at any lottery retail location or through Online Play on the lottery’s website, www.nclottery.com. The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292 million.
