Wednesday’s Powerball jackpot climbs to $384 million

The Powerball jackpot continues to build with a $384 million prize up for grabs in tonight’s drawing, the largest jackpot so far this summer.

A winner on Wednesday could claim the jackpot as a $384 million annuity or $173.1 million in cash.

While no one won Monday’s jackpot, the drawing produced more than 14,300 winning tickets in North Carolina.

All that Powerball fun also creates big wins for education in North Carolina. This Powerball run that started on June 2 has raised over $7 million.

Players can buy Powerball tickets at any lottery retail location or through Online Play on the lottery’s website, www.nclottery.com or on the NC Lottery Official Mobile App. The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292 million.
