Hi, Latisha! Each play, whether in Demo Mode or Money Mode, is played against a "full deck" of possible outcomes. When you click play, the system randomly generates one of those outcomes. Past results have no bearing on future plays, and each play has the same odds of being a winner - it just takes a lot of luck!
