Powerball jackpot rolls to $526 million for tonight’s drawing

Powerball players in North Carolina can have fun Wednesday night trying their luck on a $526 million jackpot.

A winner tonight could claim the jackpot as a $526 million annuity or $241 million in cash.

Check out how North Carolinians win when they play Powerball:

  • 19,030: That’s the total number of winning tickets in Monday’s Powerball drawing
  • $9.7 million: That’s the estimate of how much money has been raised for education during the current Powerball run

Powerball has gone 31 straight drawings without a jackpot win. The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292 million.

Players can buy Powerball tickets at any lottery retail location or through Online Play on the lottery’s website, www.nclottery.com.

You, lotto management leaders, ought to create an algorithm whereby, once the jackpot is over $400m, the bottom six catagories winning increases, by a lot. The actual 5+pb,5,4+pb,& 4 winnings amount would be then dictated by the bottom six actuals.
