Wake County man enjoys $135,218 digital instant win

Stephen Clark of Knightdale tried his luck on a $20 digital instant and won a $135,218 jackpot.

Clark won the second level “Cadabra” jackpot in the Magic Winnings Vegas game on Sept. 12. The digital instant game features a progressive jackpot that can be won at any time. The odds of that win were 1 in 1.6 million.

He claimed his prize Monday at lottery headquarters and, after required federal and state tax withholdings, took home $97,025.

In the Magic Winnings Vegas digital instant game, a player can play from 50 cents to $30. After Clark won the second tier jackpot, it restarted at $25,000 and has grown to over $60,000 as of Tuesday morning.

Digital instant games are played exclusively online on the lottery’s website or on the NC Lottery Official Mobile App. Fifty-four different games are available to play online now.

Well we know we can’t win every time but we shouldn’t lose every time either and the daily limit deposit isn’t fair cause we help raise the jackpots and then someone else wins it lol also I speak for everyone that we should be getting lucky reward points for our plays on digital games @ncel!NC Lottery

I will say if I win 100 on a digital game the next time I play they are getting it back. Also, when I deposit 60 to get bonus spins, I then withdraw the amount I invested to stay above water, I never win another dime the rest of the night. We are tracked and obviously it’s programmed for the house to Win.

Well I will say I can play DEMO mode and sure get lucky all the time, but when I play for Money mode it take take take I am like Donny S. my money be gone in 5 - 10 minutes then I am at daily limit for deposit.

Congrats to Clark, but it's just ANOTHER 100K + win in a string of big wins in Wake county. They lead all other 99 counties in such wins over the past 3 years...requested data confirms that fact. Everyone else across the state pretty much should save their money.

Congratulations to you Stephen.William you’re not lying either it is a scam I be putting 200 dollars on betting 5 or 10 dollar plays and I never get to go to the bonus round or get free spins don’t even get multiplayers sometimes I don’t even win a play money be gone less than 2 to 5 minutes can’t even enjoy playing these games straight rip offs
