Mega Millions players in North Carolina can enjoy the excitement of trying their luck on a $358 million jackpot.
A winner tonight would have the choice of taking home the $358 million jackpot as an annuity or $164.5 million in cash.
“We are so excited to see the Mega Millions jackpot continue to climb,” said Mark Michalko, chief executive officer of the N.C. Education Lottery. “We would love to see someone in North Carolina take that jackpot home.”
Even though the jackpot remains up for grabs, players are taking home lots of other prizes playing Mega Millions. Friday’s drawing produced more than 13,000 winning tickets in North Carolina.
When North Carolinians play Mega Millions, they are also helping to raise money for education programs in the state. Over $13.5 million has been raised for education in North Carolina during the current Mega Millions run.
The odds of winning a Mega Millions jackpot are 1 in 290 million.
Players can buy Mega Millions tickets at any lottery retail location or through Online Play on the lottery’s website, www.nclottery.com, or with the NC Lottery Official Mobile App.
