The N.C. Education Lottery joined forces with the Carolina Hurricanes to bring the thrills of Canes hockey to a new digital instant game.
“Teaming up with the Carolina Hurricanes to launch Caniac Cashout is a real power play for our players and for hockey fans across the state,” said Mark Michalko, chief executive officer of the N.C. Education Lottery. “With this new game, players can score big on the excitement of Hurricanes hockey while helping to deliver big wins for education in North Carolina.”
Caniac Cashout, available to play now, represents the first time an NHL licensed digital instant game launched in North America.
“We are thrilled to partner with the North Carolina Education Lottery to launch Caniac Cashout,” said Brian Fork, chief executive officer of the Carolina Hurricanes. “It’s a perfect way to provide a fun new game for our fans and support education all across North Carolina.”
The Caniac Cashout game features a top prize of $150,000. The game will include two game modes: home and away. Players can switch between these modes to enjoy their unique game features. They can also experience a fun hockey shootout if they reach the bonus round.
The odds of winning the top prize are 1 in 2 million. The overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.85.
Digital instant games are played exclusively online on the lottery’s website or on the NC Lottery Official Mobile App.
