Richmond County player wins $1.4 million digital instant jackpot

Wow! A lucky lottery player from Rockingham just won a $1.4 million digital instant jackpot Wednesday night.

The winner played the Bison Bonanza game for $.50 and instantly won the game’s top jackpot. The odds of that win are 1 in 62 million.

Bison Bonanza has a progressive jackpot that keeps growing until it is won. After Wednesday’s big win, the jackpot reset at $50,000 and continues to climb again.

Bison Bonanza is one of 62 games that can be played online in North Carolina as part of the lottery’s digital instant games.

The winner has 180 days to claim the prize.

Congrats! I have noticed that the majority of the Jackpots are WON on the lower price range, yet when playing for $10, $20, & $30 your odds are suppose to be better! I guess we only building the Jackpot for someone else to WIN! Now when I was playing for .50 all I could get MAX was like $15-$19...but usually $3.50 LOL!
