Powerball and Mega Millions offer two chances at life-changing prizes this week as North Carolinians can play for over $1.1 billion in jackpots.
A winner in tonight’s Powerball drawing could take home the $687 million jackpot as an annuity or $294.7 million in cash.
A winner in Tuesday’s Mega Millions drawing could take home the $443 million jackpot as an annuity or $186.5 million in cash.
As both jackpots continue to grow, Powerball and Mega Millions players are still winning lots of prizes. Friday’s Mega Millions drawing produced over 7,400 winning tickets in North Carolina. Saturday’s Powerball drawing saw over 30,400 winning tickets.
The odds of winning a Mega Millions jackpot are 1 in 290 million. The odds of winning a Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292 million.
