This Halloween weekend offers no tricks, only over $1.2 billion in treats for North Carolinians trying their luck on the Powerball and Mega Millions jackpots.
A winner in Saturday’s Powerball drawing would have the choice of taking home the $760 million jackpot as an annuity or $326 million in cash.
A winner in tonight’s Mega Millions drawing would have the choice of taking home the $463 million jackpot as an annuity or $194.9 million in cash.
As the jackpots keep on growing, players are taking home other big wins. Wednesday’s Powerball drawing saw a North Carolinian win a $50,000 prize. The big win came from Online Play in Eden.
The odds of winning a Mega Millions jackpot are 1 in 290 million. The odds of winning a Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292 million.
