Wow! Someone just walked into a grocery store in Wake County on Tuesday morning, played a $20 Fast Play game called Jackpot 7’s, and instantly won a $1.57 million jackpot.
The $1.57 million win represents the biggest Fast Play jackpot in North Carolina lottery history!
The winner purchased the lucky ticket at the Publix on Kildaire Farm Road in Cary.
At the time of the win, the Fast Play jackpot had just reached $1,378,846. Since it was a $20 ticket, the winner will receive 100% of the jackpot plus $200,000 cash. The winner has 180 days to claim the prize at lottery headquarters in Raleigh.
The instantly growing jackpot increases with every ticket sold until it is won. After Tuesday’s win, the jackpot started over at $20,000.
Don’t forget:
- A $2 Fast Play ticket wins 20% of the jackpot.
- A $5 Fast Play ticket wins half of the jackpot.
- A $10 Fast Play ticket wins all the jackpot.
- A $20 Fast Play ticket wins all the jackpot plus $200,000 cash.
Congratulations to the lucky winner!
