Question has the "GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF NORTH CAROLINA SESSION 2025 S 3 SENATE BILL 402 State and Local Government Committee Substitute Adopted 4/16/25 Third Edition Engrossed 5/1/25 *Short Title: Allow Lottery Winners To Be Confidential". Been passed? This bill would allow Lottery Winners to be Confidential past 90 days.NC Lottery
Hi, Michael! At this time, public information laws require that a big winner's name, hometown, game played, and amount won are public info. For winners of $50 million or more, players can choose to remain anonymous for 90 days, after which we would release information in accordance with public info laws.
