Mega Millions and Powerball players in North Carolina can have fun this week trying their luck on two jackpots that combine for almost $800 million.
A winner in tonight’s Mega Millions drawing would have the choice of taking home the $467 million jackpot as an annuity or $211 million in cash.
A winner in Wednesday’s Powerball drawing would have the choice of taking home the $327 million jackpot as an annuity or $148 million in cash.
Even though both jackpots are still on a roll, players are taking home lots of other prizes playing Mega Millions and Powerball. Friday’s Mega Millions drawing produced over 7,900 winning tickets in North Carolina. Monday’s Powerball drawing saw over 13,400 winning tickets.
The odds of winning a Mega Millions jackpot are 1 in 290 million. The odds of winning a Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292 million.
