The Mega Millions and Powerball jackpots continue to march on as the two combine for over half a billion dollars this week.
A winner in tonight’s Mega Millions drawing would have the choice of taking home the $392 million jackpot as an annuity or $173.3 million in cash.
A winner in Wednesday’s Powerball drawing would have the choice of taking home the $238 million jackpot as an annuity or $106.1 million in cash.
Even though both jackpots are still up for grabs, players are taking home other nice prizes. Monday’s Powerball drawing saw a lucky North Carolinian match four white balls and the red Powerball to win $50,000. The lucky ticket came from Online Play in Charlotte.
The odds of winning a Mega Millions jackpot are 1 in 290 million. The odds of winning a Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292 million.
