Tony McCorkle of Archdale took a chance on a $5 scratch-off and won a $150,000 top prize.
McCorkle bought his lucky Jungle Cashword ticket from Trinity Mart on N.C. 62 in Trinity.
He arrived at lottery headquarters Wednesday to claim his prize and, after required state and federal tax withholdings, took home $108,016.
The Jungle Cashword game debuted in May with five $150,000 top prizes. Two $150,000 prizes remain to be claimed.
