Isa Mitchell of Durham took a chance on the CASH scratch-off game and won the first $200,000 top prize.
Mitchell bought her lucky $5 ticket Tuesday from Circle K on West N.C. 54 in Durham.
She came to the lottery headquarters on Tuesday to claim her prize. After state and federal tax withholdings, she took home $144,021.
CASH debuted in August with three $200,000 top prizes, two of which remain. The odds of winning the top prize are 1 in 1,596,860.
