How to Qualify

To qualify, purchase a $1 or more single Carolina Pick 3 or Carolina Pick 4 ticket between March 1, 2022 and March 28, 2022. Entry tickets will be awarded based on a defined interval throughout the state.

The ENTRY ticket has a 7-digit number which is automatically entered in the next Pick 3/Pick 4 Bonus Cash Drawing. If your 7-digit number is selected, you win. Make sure to RETAIN THE ENTRY TICKET. It must be presented to a lottery retailer when claiming your Pick 3/Pick 4 Bonus Cash Drawing prize.

The North Carolina Education Lottery will conduct four (4) separate weekly Bonus Cash Drawings. Each drawing will award 750 prizes of $200 and 250 prizes of $500.

How to Claim

Drawing results (winning 7-digit numbers) will be posted here the day after the drawing.
You can also check your ticket to see if you won at any NC Lottery retailer or ticket checker or on the NC Lottery Official Mobile App.
All Prizes are redeemable at any NC Lottery retailer or NC Lottery regional office.
Prizes must be claimed within 180 calendar days of the specified drawing.

Drawings

Entries generated by or before a specific entry deadline will only be included in the specified drawing. Entries generated after a designated entry deadline will only be entered into the next available drawing, if applicable. Results should be available the afternoon of each drawing date.

Do all $1 purchases of Pick 3 and Pick 4 on a` single ticket get an entry into the Bonus Cash Drawings?: No, but each ticket purchased has a chance of generating an ENTRY ticket. Buying a Pick 3 or Pick 4 ticket is the only way to get an entry in one of the four weekly drawings. You could get an ENTRY ticket whenever you make a $1 purchase on a single Pick 3 or Pick 4 ticket.
If I get an ENTRY ticket, what do I have to do to make sure my ticket is in the next drawing?: If you get an ENTRY ticket, the 7-digit number which appears on the ENTRY ticket is automatically in the next Bonus Cash Drawing. It’s that easy. Just be sure to hang on to your ENTRY ticket in order to claim your prize if your ENTRY number is selected in the next weekly Bonus Cash drawing.
How many of the four drawings will I be entered into with my ENTRY ticket?: One. Your ENTRY ticket gives you one entry into the next Bonus Cash Drawing.
I play Pick 3 and Pick 4 regularly. Could I get multiple entries into a Bonus Cash Drawing?: Yes. Every time you make a $1 or more purchase on a single Pick 3 or Pick 4 ticket you could get an ENTRY ticket. If you make multiple purchases, you could get multiple ENTRY tickets. You can also win more than once in a single Bonus Cash drawing.
If I win a prize with my Pick 3 or Pick 4 ticket, can I still win a prize in the Bonus Cash Drawing with my ENTRY ticket?: Absolutely! That’s why we call it Bonus Cash. You can win playing Pick 3 or Pick 4 and win in the Bonus Cash drawings.
Can I still claim my prize if I lose my Bonus Cash ENTRY ticket?: If you receive an ENTRY ticket with your Pick 3 or Pick 4 drawing, you must keep the ENTRY ticket and present it to claim your prize. It’s important to keep it safe, so take a moment to check your ENTRY ticket and put it away for safekeeping. If you win, use your ENTRY ticket to claim your prize at any lottery retailer or a lottery claim center.

Drawings and Prizes

When are Bonus Cash Drawings held?: Bonus Cash Drawings will be held weekly on Tuesdays. Four Bonus Cash Drawings are scheduled. The drawings are scheduled on March 8, March 15, March 22, and March 29.
How can I find out if I won?: It’s easy. Check results on the NC Education Lottery website or scan your ENTRY ticket at a lottery retail location or with your NC Lottery Official Mobile App on your smartphone. Each week after the drawing, the results will be posted here. You can check to see if the seven-digit number on your ENTRY ticket won a $200 or $500 prize.
How will I know when the results are in?: Alerts will be posted on nclottery.com and on the lottery’s social media channels. But no worries. You have 180 days to claim a Bonus Cash Drawings prize.
How do I win the $500 prize instead of the $200 prize in a Bonus Cash Drawing?: Each drawing will award 250 prizes of $500 and 750 prizes of $200. The first 250 ENTRY ticket 7-digit numbers drawn will win $500 and the next 750 ENTRY ticket 7-digit numbers drawn will win $200. The winning entries are randomly drawn. Good luck.
When will I be able to claim my prize?: As soon as the results are available and posted. Look for notifications on the website or on social media channels. Then you can claim your prize at any lottery retail stores or lottery claim center. You have 180 days after each drawing to claim your prize.
If I get an ENTRY ticket for a Bonus Cash Drawing, will I be notified if I won?: Only you will know if your ENTRY ticket won a prize. Visit this webpage following a drawing to see if you won. After the results are in, you can also scan your ENTRY ticket at a ticket checker or vending machine at any lottery retail location or use your NC Official Lottery Mobile App.
What are the odds of winning a prize in a Bonus Cash Drawing?: The odds of winning a prize will depend on the number of entries in each drawing. Up to 500,000 ENTRY tickets will be distributed weekly.

Promotion Rules & Information

Must be 18 to play and to participate in the Pick 3/Pick 4 Bonus Cash Drawing Promotion. Only valid ENTRY tickets generated during the promotional period of 3/1/22 through 3/28/22 are eligible for the Bonus Cash Drawings. Each Entry is valid for one (1) drawing only based upon the established deadlines. Players may enter multiple times per drawing. The purchaser of the Pick 3 or Pick 4 ticket shall be solely responsible for verifying, at the time of purchase, the accuracy, legibility and condition of the data printed on the ticket and the automatically generated ENTRY ticket. The NCEL may declare a Pick 3/Pick 4 ticket and/or ENTRY ticket void if it is stolen, not sold or deemed not sold in accordance with NCEL rules and procedures; if it is illegible, altered, mutilated, or counterfeit; or if the Pick 3/Pick 4 ticket and/or ENTRY ticket fails any of the validation tests or procedures established by the NCEL. Non-selected ENTRY records shall be destroyed per the NCEL’s records retention schedule. ENTRY holders are subject to all NCEL Rules and Regulations, the Lottery Act (N.C.G.S. §18C-101 et seq), and any other applicable laws. Odds of winning in any Bonus Cash Drawing depend on the numbers of entries generated for that drawing.
