Winning $1,124,366 Cash 5 ticket sold in Cumberland County

If you play Cash 5 in Fayetteville, check your tickets. Someone won a $1,124,366 Cash 5 jackpot.

The ticket for Thursday’s drawing was sold at the Sunoco-Ramsey St. on Ramsey Street in Fayetteville. It matched all five numbers to win the prize. The winning numbers were: 2-16-19-31-41

The ticket beat odds of one in 962,598 to win the jackpot. Winners have 180 days from the drawing to claim their prize. 

Cash 5 is a statewide draw game that gives players the chance to win a jackpot every single night. Tickets cost $1 and players can buy tickets at most lottery retailers or through Online Play on the lottery’s website.

Morning, you gotta be at the right place at the right time. I live in East Bend NC but buy my tickets and scratch offs in Pfaff Town there has been good winner's at that location BP gas station. One of these days the LUCK will be with me. Congratulations to the winner.

I know that store! Have driven by many times but don't remember ever purchasing lottery there. LZ, hasn't that store been featured here before? I'm almost positive that it has. As for the current winner, waiting for them to come forward. Let me guess. So-and-so 'just happened' to stop at this store 'on a whim' and while they were there they decided to buy a Cash 5 ticket which, incidentally, is 'the FIRST lottery ticket they ever bought'!
