Lucke-Rewards drawings bring treats not tricks this Halloween

There’s nothing like some extra cash to help you get into the Halloween spirit. So if you’re looking for some treats instead of tricks in October, don’t miss our Lucke-Rewards drawings.

Enter our Wicked Winnings monthly drawing for a chance to be one of five lucky players to win $5,000. You have until Oct. 25, to enter. The drawing will take place on Wednesday Oct. 30.

If you’re looking for some Fast Cash, enter our weekly drawing. Ten players will win $100. Drawings will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 9, 16, and 23.

And be sure to check out our Facebook page during the month of October for a chance to win 60 of The Big Spin scratch-off tickets. Each ticket gives you a chance to win up to $500,000 and star in your own TV gameshow.

I know that everyone plays lottery at their own free will. With the second chance contests, i could have over 1000 entries & NEVER win anything. Smh i wish i could upload a picture of all the tickets i buy. Sorry to hear you aren't having more luck lately, Shika. The truth is, is takes a lot of luck to win a lottery prize of any size. We wish every player could be a big winner, but prizes come from non-winning tickets. That's how a $2 ticket could win $20,000 or a $30 ticket could win $10 million. With second-chance entries, it's true that the more entries you have the better your odds are, but even having just one entry gives you a chance to win. Sometimes one entry is all it takes. It would be nice if new tickets in October were Halloween themed, at least one or two of them. Same for other Holidays. You have Christmas themed tickets but what about one or more in the months for Thanksgiving, Easter, Valentine's, Fourth of July, etc. NC Lottery
We hear you, Beverly! Every year in November we release holiday themed tickets, but we have released special tickets for other holidays in the past too. This year we had a New Year's themed ticket called "2019", and we've had a few 4th of July tickets as well. Hey there Randy! Lucke-Rewards drawings are not held at a specific time of day, but rather when the draw, security and an audit teams have time to follow all the procedures to conduct the drawing. As for when the winners are notified, winners can expect to receive a notification email within 48 hours of the draw day. In this case, by the end of the day on Friday. Hope this helps!

Hey Denver, was that question for me or just asking everyone in general? If for me, well, it's self-explanatory. Just look at the draw history for yourself. Funny thing is, there was a time a few years ago that this stuff actually worked to our advantage. Think late 2000's until about 2015. If you have favorite Pick 3 numbers, for example, you could sort of have an idea when they would hit. Sometimes I got it right! And I wasn't the only one. But now? It's a crapshoot! It's like someone threw a monkey wrench into the mix.

Well DLH the red ball didn't drop and my # didn't hit. But I did get a little dirty with C5. I replayed my favorite 5 line ticket. I got 4 of 5 on 2 lines for $250 each. Not the big win I was looking for, but my growing tribe will benefit greatly. NC Lottery

I think we're just being tricked. Look at the draw games for the past 2 draws. Pick 3 was 165, now 563. Pick 4 is even more blatant. 3246, followed immediately by 3247. HUH?! I know you'll say it's the luck of the draw but I ain't buying it. This phenomenon happens FAR too often to simply be coincidence. Anyone don't believe me, do some research. Just a few draws ago it was 080 and 090 back to back! C'mon NC, this is no way to keep 'customers'. Smh.NC Lottery
Hi Tim, the odds of a particular number coming out in a North Carolina drawing are always the same -- exactly 1 in 1,000. Those odds never change, no matter how recently or long ago that same number came out. Every drawing is random and unpredictable.

THX, DL H. I try to keep my comments lite and informative. No one should take themselves or these blogs so seriously . I actually just got back from a weeks vacation. Did not bother with the lottery in anyway, shape or form. Did a few good deeds b4 and after. Had a great honey harvest. Gave a bunch away to neighbors, friends and relatives. Last call for red ball. Went heavy tonight since I had all last weeks budget to work with. Hoping my honey give away sends Good KARMA my way in the form a nice win. I don't need to be filthy rich, but I do enjoy getting a little dirty ;).

Hoping I can be TREATED this time to the $5000.00. Last year drawing I was Tricked. Most of the times NCEL/LZ do a great job treating us to wonderful second chance prizes. It's like Halloween every month. Some members are treated and some are trick. Good luck everyone.
