Claims deadline for scratch-offs one week away

The deadline to claim a prize on 13 of our scratch-off games is just a week away.

You have until Thursday, Feb. 20, to claim prizes on tickets in the following scratch-off games:

$20 ticket: $4,000,000 Platinum Payout
$10 tickets: Crown Jewels and 50X The Cash (Game #693)
$5 tickets: 20X The Cash (Game #654) and Bonus Crossword Cash
$3 tickets: Loteria (Game #693), 15X Crossword, and Win It All
$2 tickets: Wild Cherry Doubler and Triple Play
$1 tickets: Hit $50, 2019, and Blackjack

Claims of $600 up to $99,999 must be made at one of the six regional claim centers before 5 p.m. that day while claims of $100,000 and above must be made at lottery headquarters in Raleigh before 5 p.m. on that day as well.

Mail-in claims must be received within 90 days of the official end-of-game date. Remember, postmarks will not satisfy the 90-day requirement.

Don’t wait to claim your prize. We'd hate to see anyone miss a big win.

Hi Sheila, That would depend on how many ways you choose. You have the option of choosing a 4, 6, 12, or 24-way, which will affect how much your ticket costs and how much you have the potential to win. Hi Sheila, The combo option provides an Exact play for all possible combinations of the numbers you selected on a single ticket. Hi Troy, As soon as the last top prize for a game has been won, our team begins taking steps to end a game. This means that our representatives begin picking the game up from all retailers across the state. This process can take up to 6 weeks, so you might see some games available that you know no longer have prizes left. Retailers continue to sell tickets until a lottery representative comes to pick them up. That's why we update the "Prizes Remaining" for each game daily, so that folks can check to see if a game still has prizes they're interested in. Which game are you referring to that is still active but does not have top prizes remaining?

Why are you collecting games with top prizes left makes no sense. It's not like you're increasing odds, winnings on new games. Meanwhile 4mil, 1 mil, 100k prizrs are dangling out there somewhere. Ticket sales and other extenuating circumstances might cause a game to end early and tickets go unsold. If sales are lower on an older game, we may make the decision to end that game in order to make way for a new game with more prizes available.

Hi Tim, that is correct, games are only eligible to be entered for points while they can be claimed. So the last date to enter these tickets (winning or non-winning) is also Feb. 20.
