Lucke-Rewards, second-chance drawings put on hold

During this unusual time, we want to continue to make the safety of you, our employees and our communities a top priority.

We are taking new steps to comply with the governor’s Stay At Home order designed to help slow the spread of the coronavirus. Upcoming Lucke-Rewards and second-chance drawing will be postponed until further notice. Holding the drawings would require additional lottery staff to travel to headquarters on a weekly basis and create a risk that otherwise could be avoided.

You can continue to enter all Lucke-Rewards and second-chance drawings as normal. This will not affect your previous or future entries and prizes won.

We will continue to bring you new Lucke-Rewards promotions, including the April Fool's Fortune promotion, in which there will be five winners of $20,000 each, and new second-chance opportunities. The entry deadlines for weekly and monthly drawings as well as second-chance drawings remain in place.

All postponed drawings will take place as soon as possible after the order is lifted. This means you can continue to earn points and enter drawings.

Our Claim Centers may be closed, but please know that should you have questions we remain open to help you, and are working to keep you informed through our website and social media.

We appreciate your understanding as we all stand together to get through this difficult time for our state.

If we don't hear back, we'll give the winner a phone call and will send a certified letter to the address on the winner's account if we need to. Since the only way we can get in contact with a potential winner is by the info on their NC Lottery account, this is a great reminder to always keep your info up-to-date!

Florida lotto is way better more winners lucky if you make a dollar...even when u play the odds or beat the odds more losing then winning her in nc... second chance is fixed has nothing to do with how many Entries you have. Hi Jon. From your mobile, please sign in and On Scanner page switch to Lucke-Rewards tab to submit ticket for Points and to enter into 2nd Chance Draws. Ticket Submission can also be done by manually entering the ticket numbers. Tab Manual button to navigate to manual ticket entry page. Tap on Help to see where the Ticket Submission bar codes are on Draw Tickets and Scratch Off tickets. Scanning the correct bar code will show the ticket winnings. I hope this helps.

Lucke-Rewards drawings are entered by collecting points and choosing which drawing you wish to enter. Second-chance drawings are entered by purchasing a scratch-off ticket that has a second-chance drawing as a feature of that specific game. For those, you must scan or manually enter the ticket into your account. Once you have scanned the ticket, you will be automatically entered into that game’s specific second-chance drawing.

The drawing is delayed as our staff is not permitted to be onsite at our headquarters during the Stay At Home order. I am quite comfortable and am not in need. I play lottery daily and if I am lucky enough to win lottery or second chance I will donate winnings to help those in need during these trying times. hope others will do the same. reach out to the children and elderly to make sure they are taken care of.

As we strive to take the appropriate steps to protect the health of players, our staff, and the public, we are following the direction of state leaders and hope that our retail partners and players do the same. Ticket sales continue currently, but we rely on our retailers to decide what is best for their stores and their customers as they remain open to meet the needs of their communities. If a retailer decides to suspend lottery sales, we will respect that decision.

To piggy-back on the recommendation of Jeffery H. Having pick 3 and pick 4 temporarily online makes good safety sense. When retailers are required to close folk would still have access to thei favorite games while sheltering in place as "ordered".NC Lottery
