Time is running out to try and win cash prizes up to $25,000

Fear not! There’s still time to get in on the prizes we’ve had brewing all month.

Our Mega Power Flash Second Chance promotion ends on Sunday. You’ve got a $22 million Mega Millions jackpot on Friday and then a $116 million Powerball jackpot on Saturday. This promotion lets you play for a big jackpot and then get a second chance with the same ticket at a $25,000 prize.

It’s easy to enter. Just plug in your entry number from your Powerball or Mega Millions ticket at nclottery.com or scan your ticket with the NC Lottery Official Mobile App. If you buy your Powerball or Mega Millions ticket through Online Play, you are automatically entered into the second-chance drawing.

The drawing is scheduled for Wednesday.

@ NCEL I get what you're saying,but when someone wins 8 times and many others haven't won yet including myself then there's something wrong somewhere. The lottery isn't perfect, in fact it's very flawed particularly with the scratch offs. I would like to see the following changes made in the future: 1. Break even prizes single number match only. There's nothing more irritating than buying a $20 ticket and getting 4 matches with $5.00 under each. 2. Minimum multipliers should be equal

I just found out from a trusted source that 1 person has won 8 times on the 2nd chance drawings. If this is indeed true then the NCEL has some explaining to do. NC Lottery
Hi Charles. Winning in one drawing doesn't disqualify a player from having good luck again! The more entries a player makes, the more chances he or she has to win. We don't know how many entries these players made, but it’s possible they made a lot of them. Of course, having even ONE entry in a drawing gives you a chance to win!

Hi Deona, the winners of each of the drawings will be published under each drawing on our website once they claim their prize. Winners have 30 days to claim, after which we would move to an alternate if left unclaimed - so stay tuned, as we will update our site once they claim!
