Franklin County man wins $100,000 prize in Cash 5 promotion

Atcheson Conway III of Louisburg won a $100,000 top prize in the Cash 5 Bonus Cash promotion.

His good luck occurred Monday in the final drawing for the promotion. Each drawing offered one prize of $100,000 and 40 prizes of $500.

Conway arrived at lottery headquarters Tuesday to collect his prize and, after required state and federal tax withholdings, took home $71,250. He purchased his Cash 5 ticket from Stenoura LLC on N.C. 56 in Louisburg.

Cash 5 tickets are $1 and drawings are held every night. The odds of winning a Cash 5 jackpot are 1 in 962,598. Wednesday’s jackpot is $156,000.

If you visit the Lucke-Rewards drawing page, select "Past Drawings and Winners" and click on the drawing you're interested in, you can see winners from the drawing under the "Winners" tab. https://nclottery.com/rewards. Michael B. It was a full pack. They had just put a pack in the display and had 26 left on the roll, which they wanted to sell me. I said no, just get me a full pack from the back if you have it. If you got the $$ no one has an issue selling packs. I was told it was to their advantage doing it the way I wanted . Pack was sealed, I just told them make sure you activate it.

Hey Denver. Just curious are the packs sealed or you just buy off the roll that was put out? Gas stations have no issues selling you a new pack?

CONGRATS. I had a hard time cashing in that $500 free raffle ticket win. So i just got $200 and a $300 pack of $10 tics. Worked out 4 me. Won $510 on that pack. So basically that free tic was worth $710 !!!

Are you'll going to payout for your mistake to the players that played 000 and 0000 being that when you called the 877 phone number to check the numbers drawn, it gave us those numbers in the drawing results? A lot of people called me thinking they had hit the pick 3 or pick 4NC Lottery
