Alamance County man enjoys $100,000 scratch-off win

Oscar Galdamez-Escalante of Burlington took a chance on a $25 scratch-off and won a $100,000 prize.

Galdamez-Escalante bought his lucky Extreme Cash ticket from Sam’s Grill on N.C. 119 North in Mebane.

He claimed his prize Tuesday at lottery headquarters and, after required state and federal tax withholdings, took home $71,507.

The $50.00 ticket states there there are 3 top prizes left out of 5. On the winners page we can see only one winning ticket for the longest. When and where was the 2nd 10 million dollar ticket sold and why hasn’t it been posted on the winners board.NC Lottery
