Powerball jackpot reaches $400 million with Mega Millions close behind

This weekend both Mega Millions and Powerball players can play for jackpots worth more than $350 million.

The first chance comes tonight with a Mega Millions jackpot that stands at a $355 million annuity that is worth $164 million in cash. The odds of winning a Mega Millions jackpot are 1 in 302 million.

The second chance occurs Saturday night with a Powerball jackpot that checks in at a $400 million annuity or $185.6 million cash. The odds of winning a Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292 million.

In Wednesday’s Powerball drawing, one $2 ticket matched four white balls and the red Powerball to win $50,000. The lucky ticket came from Jack B Quick on Burkemont Avenue in Morganton.

Powerball and Mega Millions are two of six draw games in North Carolina where players can buy their tickets at a retail location or with Online Play through the lottery’s website or with the NC Lottery Official Mobile App. Lottery players now can either buy scratch-offs at a retail location or play digital instant games online at nclottery.com and on the app.

I think y'all should put all the digital games on it own website to be played. That way we won't be waiting for them to load, before I start checking my tickets.

Sorry about that, Kelli! You can scroll through past Pick 4 draws using the numbers at the top of the page, but there is currently not a way to look up a specific month/year of results.

A couple things that could have happened to prevent you from getting them are 1) If you use the code more than once. 2) If you were using mobile device, make sure the phone and app are all updated maybe reboot as well 3) If you were using a computer then clear cache or change web browser. If none of that worked, I would reach out to our technical support folks at https://nclottery.com/Help so they can take a look.

I also have been playing the lottery since day one. I do not like the format either as I use to do homework for what pick 3 came out each month and year easy and if the format was the same I would have got that 110 because it came out on Dec 1 of 2014. Some things are just better left alone NCEL!

As a 10+ year player I just want to say thank you for minimizing all the digital instant information on the main page. I get that its new but its not more important than draw games or scratch offs and those should be front and center. However, I would like to say its disappointing that you have taken all of the draw game winning numbers off of the main homepage and relegated them to a side bar for digital instants. Surely both can be there no? NC Lottery
